Supernatural Thriller “HARMONY” Makes World Premiere at 2014 HollyShorts Film Festival

Disturbing New Short Film Comes from Rising Female Talents: Director LOGAN KIBENS and Exec Producer/Actor DAWN DAVIS

Los Angeles (July 28, 2014) – Supernatural thriller HARMONY is ready to unnerve audiences when it premieres at the 10th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF), on August 19, 2014 at the TLC Chinese Theatre and Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

This 5-minute short film tells the story of a clairvoyant Hospice nurse fighting for her life when a psychotic intruder tests the limits of her intuition.

To get this subtle yet chilling story onto the screen, Executive Producer Dawn Davis, who also stars in the project, brought in rising female director Logan Kibens, a Sundance Screenwriting Lab fellow, HBO Directors Guild fellow and winner of Film Independent’s Project Involve and Sloane grants. Actor Chris Kerson (“Cost of a Soul”) and a ‘sensitive’ cat named Monkey round out the cast of this story penned by writer Warren Fast. Davis also involved the highly-respected Stunt Coordinators Dan Speaker and Jan Bryant to assist.

Davis is excited to finally unleash the film, explaining “I can’t wait to share this little five-minute film that cost so much of myself, took so long to get to, and that has forever changed the way I see my place in this industry. I’m no longer an actress waiting for a part; I’m a creator who has something to say and something to give.”
