Halley Consulting Group Names Three Executives to VP Roles

New leadership structure positions firm for continued growth of core business

WESTERVILLE, OH, February 16, 2016 – Halley Consulting Group, a firm specializing in the strategic development and performance turnaround of hospital-owned medical practice networks and independent physician practices, has announced the promotion of three of its consulting executives to administrative leadership roles. The new appointments are Stephanie Boim to vice president of revenue cycle services, Lauri Miro to vice president of consulting services, and Sarah Montijo to vice president of business analytics.

As vice president of revenue cycle services, Boim will leverage her extensive experience in revenue cycle and physician practice operations to help clients achieve world-class performance. She will work with clients focusing on increasing revenue, solving complex business challenges to increase profitability, engaging employees and patients in premier healthcare solutions, and executing strategies to support growing physician practice networks.

As vice president of consulting services, Miro will continue to serve in lead roles for a variety of consulting engagements to optimize provider network performance and guide clients along the path toward clinical integration.

With the oversight of our business analytics department, Montijo will focus her team’s efforts on financial and performance data as well as market intelligence and data necessary for strategic plan development. She will work with clients to provide meaningful reports that identify opportunities for improvement and support financial turnaround activities. Her work with clients also will continue to include developing strategic plans founded on local market realities identified through market review and analysis.

Stephanie Boim brings more than 20 years of experience in medical practice operations and revenue cycle management to her role at Halley Consulting Group. Prior to joining Halley Consulting Group, Stephanie served as the administrative director of revenue cycle solutions for a 250-physician, multi-specialty hospital-owned medical practice network in Virginia. Her revenue cycle budget included $72 million in annual collections. During her tenure she successfully implemented new practice management software for the medical practices and completed an electronic medical record pilot project for the system. While in this role, she exceeded the 75th percentile of A/R management as defined by the Medical Group Management Association and was recognized for excellence at the system level.

Stephanie received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a resident of Richmond, Virginia.


Lauri Miro, MBA, RN, PCMH CCE, has more than 20 years of healthcare management, consulting, and clinical experience. She has served in senior executive roles for both hospital and physician practice network administrations. Lauri serves as project lead for physician network evaluations that assess governance, management, operations, finance and revenue cycle. Additionally, she is project lead for service line integration, which brings together leaders and providers to enhance the patient service experience as well as service effectiveness and clinical outcomes. A Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) certified content expert, Lauri provides expertise for organizations seeking to achieve PCMH recognition.

Lauri received a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and is a resident of Granger, Indiana.

Sarah Montijo, MHA, has broad experience and expertise that spans the areas of electronic medical record implementation, business and strategic planning, physician and hospital administration liaison, physician recruiting, managing onboarding of acquired medical practices and supervising practice managers. Prior to joining Halley Consulting, she served as the director of planning and project management for a medical center in Virginia and as the director of operations for a large hospital-owned medical group.

Sarah has led the acquisition process for smaller yet complex independent physician groups as well as larger groups. With her experience in employment agreements and negotiations, Sarah has also supported compensation model redesign and implementation, ensuring the models are compliant and providers are paid according to contract.

A resident of Richmond, Virginia, Sarah received a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from James Madison University.
