Little TART Restaurant Brings Mind-blowing Menu to Koreatown

LOS ANGELES – February 9, 2016 – Little TART is the feisty, spicy sister restaurant to TART in L.A.’s Fairfax district. Following in the footsteps of her older sister, Little TART has created the ultimate American Pub in Koreatown, located at 740 S. Western Ave, LA 90005.

If you’re a little tarty, or think you’re the dog’s bollocks then this is the place for you. The restaurant creates comfort food with a twist, offering down-home hospitality in the heart of Los Angeles. Its menu is filled with mind-blowing burgers, a new take on hot dogs, succulent fried chicken and crack-fries among other irresistible sides and pies. Wine and beer is sold exclusively by the can. 

Little TART is the only place in LA – or maybe the world – where you can find a Thai twist on fries and the ultimate American hotdog blended with traditional British flavors.

Led by executive chef, Keith Shutta, and owners Peter and Ellen Picataggio, Little TART’s concept came to life in January 2016. The interior reflects the idea behind the TART brand – bringing unexpected cultures together to create the unique vibe and delicious dishes TART is already known for. Designed by Ellen in collaboration with BAM Design, Little TART is an intimate space that reflects a British pub with the flair of a French café—the perfect neighborhood hangout.

An accomplished hand with a wide repertoire, executive chef Keith Shutta brings “seasonal flavors that are sophisticated, fresh and a little bit country” to the Little TART restaurant. Since October 2014, Keith has been executive chef at TART, where he describes his culinary perspective as approachable and fun, featuring fresh ingredients with big flavor and French technique. Based on the success of the seasonal menus and sought after Burger and Burgundy specials on Wednesday evenings at TART, Shutta was asked to create the menu for sister restaurant, Little TART.

The American Way ($12) 6oz special blend beef patty w/ lettuce, onion, tomato, dill, pickle, and spicy house sauce on a brioche bun

I’m All In ($12) 6oz special blend beef patty, bacon jam, mushrooms, taleggio cheese and crispy onions on a ciabatta

The TART Burger ($12) 6oz special blend beef patty, caramelized onion, sliced bacon, blue cheese, mustard aioli on brioche


Fried ½ Chicken ($14) Buttermilk fried chicken served with coleslaw and drizzled with spiced honey, green onion and peanuts


The Dogs Bollocks ($10) English Pork Banger topped w/ tater tots, onions sauce, white cheddar, Cabbage in a buttered sausage roll

Lamb and Eggs($10) Spiced Lamb sausage, soft scrambled eggs, curried onions and tzatziki sauce in a buttered sausage roll

Cho Dog ($10) Bacon wrapped smoked polish sausage, griddled onion, kimchi, pickled habanero, and mayo in a buttered sausage roll
