SageWest Lander assessing damage following weekend high waters

SageWest Lander is assessing damage caused by rainstorms affecting Fremont County this weekend. Currently, the emergency room and outpatient services remain open in Lander. Emergent OB coverage is available in Lander.
All inpatient services, including medical surgical, ICU, acute rehabilitation and behavioral health are being transferred to other facilities, including SageWest Riverton. SageWest Riverton remains fully operational with available capacity.
"We are working with environmental and facility experts to assess the flood damage and determine when we can safely resume the affected services at Lander," Physician Relations and Industry/Marketing Director Lindsey Anderson said.
SageWest Lander is an EPA-certified facility and has water testing kits available for individuals who are concerned about the quality of their personal water source. For more information, please call the hospital at 332-4420.
"We appreciate everyone’s patience," Anderson said. "Please know that we are working diligently to deliver timely and appropriate care to the people we serve as we continue to support the community through this difficult time."
