Wilmington, NC Executive To Speak In Washington, DC on Healthcare in The Digital & Social Realm

The College is a 39,000-member nonprofit medical society comprised of physicians, surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists and practice managers, and bestows credentials upon cardiovascular specialists who meet its stringent qualifications. The Consortium holds bi-annual meetings on domestic and global issues affecting the ACC, and the overall theme of this meeting is Digital Health and Patient Engagement.  

SayItSocial’s COO Emily Trayers has been invited to speak to the group on the subject of Leveraging Social Media in the Healthcare Industry, where she will discuss the recent social media guidelines from the FDA and what the recommendations actually mean for US medical manufacturers and pharma companies.   Trayers will also discuss how institutions like the Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic are revolutionizing how healthcare organizations can take advantage of social and digital opportunities that strengthen brand awareness, patient engagement and critical information-sharing through content driven and data centric strategies.
