SageWest Lander begins re-opening services after the week's power outage

Fremont County, Wyo. – The emergency room, women’s health unit and outpatient services, including surgery, radiology, lab and pharmacy, are fully operational at SageWest Lander following recent concerns due to flooding and this week’s power outage.
All inpatient services, including medical surgical, intensive care unit, acute rehabilitation and behavioral health remain unavailable in Lander. SageWest Riverton is fully operational with available capacity.
SageWest continues to work with environmental and facility experts to repair damage caused by recent flooding. To ensure the safety of all visitors to our Lander hospital during this process, we ask that patients and visitors use the emergency room entrance Monday-Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You may access SageWest Lander through the main entrance during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
There currently is not a timeline for re-opening affected services in Lander.

We appreciate everyone’s patience. Please know that we are working diligently to deliver timely and appropriate care to the people we serve as we continue to support the healthcare needs of our community.
