Castle Group Founder and CEO, James Donnelly, Chosen to Serve on the Board of the Community Foundation of Broward

Donnelly Will Join Four Others on the Community Foundation of Broward’s First-Year Board

Plantation, FL – December 14, 2015 – Castle Group’s Founder and CEO, James Donnelly, has received the honor of being chosen to serve on the Board of the Community Foundation of Broward.

Donnelly has expressed tremendous gratitude for the nomination and is looking forward to stepping into his new role.

As a passionate community leader and benefactor of numerous philanthropic organizations, Donnelly has instilled a commitment to the community in both Castle Group as well as in his personal dedications outside the office. Donnelly currently sits on the Executive Board of Directors of Broward Workshop as Vice-Chair, and the Board of Advisors of the LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is also an active member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Legacy Society, the United Way Tocqueville Society, Benefactors of the Broward Performing Arts Foundation, and the Youth and Education Committee of the Broward Workshop

The Community Foundation of Broward has been serving individuals, families, and corporations in the Broward community for 31 years to create personalized charitable Funds that serve crucial philanthropic need. The mission of the Community Foundation of Broward is to “lead boldly.” Through this mission, the Foundation has been able to provide $80 million dollars in grants and serve 450 charitable funds since its inception. The Foundation has also created the Art of Community that aims to “Bridge, Bond, and Build” the community through projects that have had over 300,000 participants. The Community Foundation of Broward is ranked in the nation’s top 100 community foundations by asset size.
