CLEVELAND (Dec. 21, 2011) – Positively Cleveland is pleased to announce that Colette M. Jones has joined the organization as Vice President of Marketing.  A native of Shaker Heights, OH, Colette has 12 years of combined sales and brand management experience working for companies such as KeyBank, N.A., Abbott Laboratories, ConAgra Foods, Inc., and the Wm. Wrigley Jr., Co.  Most recently, Colette was the principal of her own marketing consulting firm, cLogic Marketing LLC, where she provided marketing strategy guidance to small businesses in the Cleveland area.  Colette’s combined work experience not only provides her with a breadth of skills to build a brand vision, but also the ability to get the right groups of people together to move toward that vision.

Colette is a true Buckeye, having obtained her MBA in Marketing from The Ohio State University and her B.S. in Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH.  Colette also received a Strategic Sustainability certificate from Case Western Reserve University in 2010.  This certification provided her with exposure to the principles of Appreciative Inquiry.

“I am happy to be home, especially during this exciting time for Cleveland”, said Colette M. Jones. “I am grateful for the opportunity to use my marketing experience to promote the region as part of the Positively Cleveland team.

Colette is an active member of COSE, the Rotary Club of Cleveland and she is on the Advisory Board for Campus International, a Cleveland Metropolitan School District New and Innovative School.  She is an alumnus of the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2011 and teaches Consumer Behavior as a part-time lecturer in the Marketing Department at John Carroll University.

Positively Cleveland’s mission is to promote the Cleveland Plus region as an outstanding business meeting and tourism destination in order to grow the region’s economy.
