08.06.2009 – Austin Washington, PopMusic.com's President of Pop, in a surprise announcement by the College of Cardinals (see attached photo), was elected Emperor of Entertainment, in a unanimous decision by the College of Cardinals.
"The world has benefited so much from the magical music, terrific tunes, and the rhymes...ah, the rhymes - from ridiculous to romantic, that Austin has given us," said Cardinal Twitter. "In one sense we hate to promote the President of Pop's position in order to propel his other prodigious proclivities to a wider public. Some have cited the risk of reducing the rhymes, lessening the list of lyrics, and potentially muffling or even muting Austin Washington's magnificent music."
"But the President of Pop - now, elected Emperor of Entertainment - promises us," the Cardinal continued, "that he can handle the additional responsibility without popping the prodigious and prolific output of pop music the President of Pop is perceived possibly to be proud to produce."
The world waits with baited breath (sic) - which in the case of this College of Cardinals means they have worms in their mouths (think about it...)
