PRSA Northeast Wisconsin announces April public relations event

Local public relations professionals will host annual "meet the media" event on April 19, 2011

The Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will hold its next meeting "Headline News" for all communications professionals on Tuesday, April 16, 2011 from 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at The Marq Banquet & Catering, 3177 French Road, De Pere, Wis.

Join us as we welcome a panel of local media recovering from a Green Bay Packers Super Bowl win, Gov. Walker's Budget Repair Bill protests and Japan's devastating natural disasters in just the first three months of 2011. Hear from the panel of news media editors how they juggled coverage of these events and how national news affect local public relations professionals.

Registration: 11:15 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.
Presentation: 12:00 p.m.

The lunch meeting is open to all interested professionals who register online by Friday, April 15.

Cost: $20 for members, $30 for non-members, $15 for undergraduate students
