Seagram’s Escapes Serves Up Creative Costumes and Creepy Cocktails This Halloween

Halloween isn’t just for kids anymore!  More and more adults are getting into the haunting spirit of the season and throwing their own spooktacular Halloween parties for friends and neighbors.  The entertaining experts at Seagram’s Escapes have come up with some creative “tricks and treats” that will make your Halloween party unforgettable! 

• Theme Night:  Pick a costume theme for your party and encourage guests to dress the part.  Vampires and zombies are both big this season and can range from scary, to sexy, to silly.  Or host a celebrity themed party and invite your friends to dress in the many styles of that celebrity. A “Madonna throughout the ages” theme is always a fun choice.

• Snacks you can sink your fangs into:  Try these delicious Halloween cupcake recipes from the Taste of Home blog.  From mini spider bites to green eyed monsters, these snacks are creative, easy-to-make and inexpensive. Remember you want “to scare your guests not your wallet.”
• Mix up a potion:  What’s a Halloween party without a crazy concoction? Stir up some ghostly cocktails and witches brew using select flavored coolers from Seagram’s Escapes. Display cocktails on silver platters decorated with toy spider rings and fake webs.

Potion Punch*

• 8 oz Pink Punch
• 1 oz white rum
• ½ oz grenadine
• Orange slices

Combine rum and grenadine and shake in a cocktail shaker over ice. Add Pink Punch and gently stir. Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with an orange wedge.

 Scary Berry Fizz*

• 8 oz Seagram’s Cherry Fizz
• 1 oz vodka
• 2 oz cranberry juice
• ½ oz sweetened lime juice
• Lime wedges

Combine vodka, lime juice and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker. Shake over ice. Add Cherry Fizz and stir to combine. Pour into a cocktail glass, garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!

 Peach Scream*

•  4pk Seagram’s Fuzzy Navel
• 8 oz vodka
• 1oz of orange bitters
• Lemon twist

In a large pitcher, combine Fuzzy Navel, vodka and orange bitters. Pour into individual high-ball glasses and garnish with a lemon twist. Enjoy!
