Shure Gears Up to Unveil Four New Products in January 2009

WHAT:
Shure Incorporated will unveil four new products on the biggest consumer electronics stages in the country - the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and Macworld. Upon their launch, two of the four products will be honored as International CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Awards Honorees in a total of three categories.

WHO:
For more than 80 years, the Shure (www.shure.com) name has been synonymous with exceptional sound. Shure microphones have set the industry standard for sound quality and durability, and are the preferred choice of musicians and sound engineers the world over. In the consumer electronics market, Shure Sound Isolating earphones cater to the “everyday audiophile,” a group of consumers who are passionate about enhancing the personal, portable listening experience.

WHEN:
Beginning January 6, 2009 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV and the Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco, CA. Shure can be found at CES South Hall 1 booth #21532, and at Macworld booth #836.

WHY:
“When Shure introduced its first stereo phonograph cartridge 50 years ago, consumers were just listening to music. Today, most of us are not only taking our entire music catalog with us, we’re also actively involved in creating and recording sound,” said Mark Karnes, Shure’s Executive Director of Global Marketing. With our upcoming product introductions, Shure will once again bring its legendary professional recording heritage to the consumer market, where the potential for an extended legacy is boundless.
