The 2005 vintages of Snows Lake “One” and Snows Lake “Two” are unique wines that come from specially chosen blocks from Snows Lake Vineyards, located just 20 miles North of the Napa Valley. The grapes are grown in volcanic red soils at high elevation with very limited yields to enhance color, structure, and flavor intensity. Snows Lake “One” is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and has complex and bold flavors of wild berries, blackberries, cherries, and spice with hints of black licorice and loads of sweet smoky oak. Snows Lake “Two” is a blend of two classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon (72%) and Cabernet Franc (28%) displaying rich ripe flavors of jammy raspberry, dark cherry and bittersweet chocolate with hints of coffee and licorice.
