Aestheticare MedSpa Opens Second Location in Lawrence, Kansas
Lawrence, Kansas Aestheticare MedSpa of Leawood is excited to announce their second location in Lawrence, Kansas. Located at 3510 Clinton Place, Suite 120, Aestheticare MedSpa in Lawrence will be the only medspa in the area offering a complete menu of aesthetic services. Aestheticare is the Kansas City metropolitan area’s leading skincare center offering everything from laser treatments, hair and tattoo removal, Botox, facial peels and more. Since it opened its doors in 2001, they have focused on building long-term relationships and providing excellence in skincare. With the most experienced staff in the Midwest, their menu of services has more than tripled over the past 11 years. AesthetiCare provides national training to doctors and their staff in a wide variety of areas including Botox, Dermal Fillers, microdermabrasion treatments, laser hair removal and advanced laser techniques.
Aestheticare MedSpa in Lawrence will be offering services such as Botox, Dermal Fillers, microdermabrasion, a diverse menu of state of the art facial treatments, Exilis for fat reduction and tightening loose skin, laser hair removal, laser treatments for sun-damage, wrinkles, and rosacea, and much more. An official ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday, February 9th at 4:30pm with an Open House from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to take a tour and meet the doctors and staff.

Matt Taranto
Matt Taranto, owner/operator of AesthetiCare Leawood, is a 1987 graduate of the University of Kansas. After spending 10 years in sales, marketing, and product development, Matt incorporated Aesthetic Consulting Group(ACG) in 1998. ACG has become one of the country's leading aesthetic training and consulting companies with clients in nearly all 50 states. In 2001, Matt incorporated AesthetiCare MedSpa (AC) in the Kansas City area due to his desire to provide a business model and training center for the clients of ACG. Under Matt’s guidance, AesthetiCare Leawood is now the largest and most successful medspa in the 4-state region.
H. Kathy Gaumer M.D.
Dr. Gaumer received her undergraduate diploma from the University of Kansas in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a degree in Cellular Biology in 1987. She then attended Medical School at the Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and did her Ob/Gyn Residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, completing her training in 1995. She is Board Certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Kansas Medical Society. Being interested in all aspects of women’s health, she introduced aesthetics into her practice in 2008. Dr. Gaumer is experienced in the use of Botox as well as other injectables such as Juvederm, Radiesse, Restylane and Perlane. Dr. Gaumer continues to live in Lawrence with her husband and two children and is a die-hard KU fan!
Shea Pritchard
After 17 years as a stay-at-home mom, Shea recently graduated with honors from the Advanced Esthetics program at Johnson Community College in May 2011. Shea has recently been training with Matt Taranto at AesthetiCare in Leawood. Living in or near the Lawrence community for close to 30 years, Shea is well versed in the Lawrence community and will play a vital role in launching Aestheticare MedSpa.
