Arena Football League Writers Association Pre-Season Poll

The Chicago Rush is the preseason No. 1 in the Arena Football League Writers Association Top 8 Poll as the AFL prepares to begin a new season after taking last year off.

Voting was split, with all 15 teams receiving votes and six clubs receiving at least one first-place vote. The Rush received two first-place votes and 53 points to edge out the No. 2 Tampa Bay Storm, which had one first-place vote and 50 points. The Dallas Vigilantes actually had the most first-place votes, with four, but was third with 49 points.

Rounding out the Top 8 were the Cleveland Gladiators, Orlando Predators, Spokane Shock, Milwaukee Iron and Arizona Rattlers.
