07.02.2009 – Enjoyed by thousands each year, the Good Food & Wine Show attracts those who like to eat, shop, test, drink and experience the diversity of Australia’s and some of the world’s best producers - both large and small.
From those newly discovering their love of good food and wine, to the more discerning foodies, there is something to suit every palate and an abundance of products, insider tips and unique experiences to be had.
There’s over 300 food and wine exhibitors from around the country, cheese and wine masterclasses, interactive cooking classes, live demonstrations from the best international and local celebrity chefs and everything in between.
For the second year running, international chef Gordon Ramsay will headline show. He is joined by chefs Matt Moran, Tobie Puttock, and MasterChef Australia''s Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris.
Daily at the show, fans will be able to see Gordon cook up some of his best recipes and learn tips and tricks from a man who’s one of the world’s most successful chefs.
This year, adding more features to cater for all tastes and palates has been a priority for Diversified Exhibitions, the show’s organisers, as well as improving the overall experience of the show with wider aisles and a larger theatre.

“Gordon was such a massive hit at last year’s Sydney show, we thought it only fitting that we bring him back to give Sydneysiders another chance to see him and give Melbourne a piece of the pie too.”
“We are building a new 2,500 seat theatre to ensure visitors have greater access to see Gordon and the other chefs in action in the LG Celebrity Theatre and wider aisles to ensure maximum visitor comfort.”
