The filming window is now open and the contest is simple. Skiers will upload their winter 2012/13 edits to TetonGravity.com, users will vote for the top 18, and an industry panel will select three Wild Cards. Those Top 21 athletes will then cast their own votes, in order of importance from most favorite to least favorite. The results from the Top 21 will determine the overall $100,000 winner, additional category winners (categories TBA), and the top 12 who will be featured in The Co-Lab film.

"The goal of The Co-Lab is to provide a platform for all skiers, known and unknown, to showcase their talents, express their creativity, and share it with the world," says Steve Jones, TGR co-founder. "The Co-Lab will bring the ski community together and give everyone a chance to participate. In addition to putting up a $100,000 cash prize, we put a lot of consideration into making sure people could use their footage for other projects."
