AUSTIN, Texas - In the past 10 years, Fantasy Football has gone from a die-hard sports fan's hobby to a mainstream, multi-million dollar industry. Today fantasy football is covered by sports news organizations including ESPN and major daily newspapers, with tens of millions of people playing fantasy sports online. One of the most daunting, yet crucial, moments of every Fantasy Football season is the draft. Choosing the right team is critical, yet many players don't know how to approach making the decisions needed to create a strong and competitive team.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 a group of twelve Fantasy Football experts will participate in a live fantasy football mock draft at the Texas Testosterone Festival. This draft will offer Fantasy Football diehards and newcomers alike the opportunity to incorporate expert opinion into their 2009 Fantasy Football draft plans.
The event is hosted by Ladd Biro, Fantasy Football columnist for the Dallas Morning News and contributor to Sporting News Radio. Biro will participate in and lead a panel of Fantasy Football experts in a Mock Draft for the 2009 NFL Football season followed by an audience Q&A.
