The Color Medicine Foundation Hosts Educational Seminar

Information Provided to Prospective Medical School Students

11.04.2009 – Atlanta, Ga.¬-The Color Medicine Foundation will host a free educational seminar on Saturday, October 3, 2009, in the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University. The seminar is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the event is free. Interested participants can register at the Color Medicine website.

The information will help provide potential medical students with more knowledge and opportunities to achieve their goals.

"The goal of the seminar is to raise awareness in the community, increase applicants in the metro Atlanta area and to gain more sponsor support," said Kezmiche Atterbury, State Senator.

“The Color Medicine Foundation has supported past students and hopes to do the same for present and future students in the medical field,” said Mark P. Becker, President of Georgia State University.

The prospected attendees are high school and college students in metro Atlanta. “We hope to assist as many students as possible with the support of the community and this educational opportunity,” said Jim Wagner, President of Emory University.
