SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (April 30, 2010) - Thermo Fluids, Inc., an Arizona-based environmental services company, has acquired Proleum’s used oil collection business in Maricopa County, which includes oil collection, recycling and environmental services. The sale is effective May 1, 2010.
Like Thermo Fluids, Proleum services the quick service automotive lube and repair companies, auto dealers and auto service retailers. It collects and recycles waste oils and contaminated oils, antifreeze, and oil filters.
The primary operations of Proleum’s used oil collection business will be absorbed into Thermo Fluids’ Phoenix operations. Terms and conditions of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Proleum has been providing, with distinction, vital services to its customers for five years and we are pleased to transition these customers to Thermo Fluids,” said James Devlin, Thermo Fluids’ Chief Executive Officer. “They were selective in their review process and found our company to be the perfect match,” he said.
