LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND APPLEBEE’S PARTNER TO RAISE MONEY FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS IN NEW YORK STATE

“Law and Orders” night raises key funds for Special Olympics athletes

BUFFALO, NY – Law enforcement officers across New York State will be on-hand at more than 40 Applebee’s restaurants on Wednesday, October 28 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., but they won’t be enforcing laws or writing tickets, per se. Instead, the officers will serve up food and fun to Applebee’s customers, all to raise funds for Special Olympics.

The officers will join forces with Special Olympics athletes and Applebee’s employees and assist servers and hosts by performing their various tasks. They will hold the doors open for and greet guests, serve beverages, clean off tables, and deliver food to customers. In return, Applebee’s customers will have the option to tip the officers, which directly benefits the more than 46,000 Special Olympics athletes in New York State. This is the second “Law and Orders” fundraiser for Special Olympics Applebee’s restaurants have held this year.

The “Law and Orders” events are just one of the many ways that Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar supports and gives back to local communities. For more information on fundraising opportunities with Applebee’s, visit www.tlcneighborhood.com.

T.L. Cannon Companies is the franchisee for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in Upstate NY and CT. It currently owns and operates 62 restaurant locations.
