UW-Platteville reaches new credit transfer agreement

Pact gives students at UNC-Greensboro the chance to put credits toward master's degree

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville and its Distance Learning Center (UW-Platteville Online) announced today a new credit transfer agreement with the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. The partnership gives students at UNC-Greensboro the chance to turn a certificate coursework into credits to put toward an online master’s degree in integrated supply chain management from UW-Platteville.

Under the transfer agreement, once a student earns a supply chain, logistics and transportation management certificate from UNC-Greensboro, they can then transfer their coursework to UW-Platteville for up to 12 credits, equivalent to four courses within UW-Plattevillle’s master’s degree in integrated supply chain management. UW-Platteville fosters similar credit pacts nationwide primarily through its eight accredited online programs.

The comprehensive degree provides students the tools to succeed in the field by examining the interplay and coordination of business, industrial studies, and engineering. It also offers real-world skills that stretch beyond a graduate degree in business.
