Scottsdale, AZ — Vemma, together with the Charlotte Bobcats, will host Reading with Rufus events on March 24 and April 26 at Charlotte-area schools as part of its ongoing sponsorship of the NBA team.
The Reading with Rufus Program, featuring team mascot Rufus Lynx, stresses to students the importance of reading, in a fun, entertaining format. Reading with Rufus is a 30-minute, interactive program geared toward elementary-age children.
Approximately 150 students enrolled at Druid Hills and Winding Springs Elementary Schools in Charlotte will gather at each event to hear from Charlotte Bobcats staff and listen to a story. The children will view a Rufus highlight video and interact with the rambunctious feline, who will also perform and give a testimony to the importance of reading every day. Children in attendance will also receive the ultra-premium children’s nutritional supplement, Vemma NEXT®.
