VivaKi Offers Exclusive Advertising Opportunities with Xbox

ZenithOptimedia and Starcom MediaVest Group are first agencies to offer clients exclusive opportunities through Xbox LIVE

London – Following the latest update to the Xbox 360 experience, VivaKi today announces it will be the only media partner to offer clients exclusive pre-roll advertising inventory within entertainment content apps on Xbox LIVE in the UK. This opportunity will be exclusively available to all Starcom MediaVest Group and ZenithOptimedia clients from 6th December until March 2012. The first advertisers to take up this opportunity include EMI, Samsung, Emirates, Honda, E1 and O2.

The launch of the new Xbox 360 experience represents a new era of interactive TV advertising and is the first time that Xbox LIVE has offered in-content advertising opportunities. In addition Xbox LIVE has announced a number of new entertainment partners including Sky, HBO, You Tube, Channel 4, AlloCiné, Screenrush, Dailymotion, and MSN Video and with more than 35 million active subscribers worldwide, Xbox LIVE is the largest next-generation TV platform to offer advertisers the ability to purchase 30-second TV spots within entertainment content. In the UK Microsoft will be partnering to offer ads within content of four entertainment partners including MSN Video. The new experience also offers Kinect-enabled Brand Destination Experiences making Xbox LIVE the only place on TV where advertisers can use the power of voice and gesture to engage with audiences.
