Work Options for Women Hosts 7th Annual WomenCook! – Dining for a Difference

What: Work Options for Women (WOW), a local non-profit organization that helps women move out of poverty and towards self-sufficiency through an innovative food service job training and placement program, will host its seventh annual charity fundraiser, WomenCook! Dining for a Difference event. Nearly 500 participated last year and helped to raise more than $95,000 towards this important cause.

WomenCook! is an elegant evening of culinary delights prepared by Denver’s most respected and creative women chefs representing top-rated restaurants. Presented as a walk-around dinner, guests will enjoy signature dishes while having the opportunity to learn secret culinary techniques and recipe suggestions and interact directly with these top Denver chefs.

This year, The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado is sponsoring the 2011 WomenCook! event with a $2,500 challenge grant. The Gay & Lesbian Fund will match new or increased donations.
